Good morning everyone! Maelyn is one week old today! We are at home this morning but just called in and it sounded like Maelyn had a good night, per her nurse. They let her skip a feeding because she was so tired, and then at the next one she took over half her bottle by mouth! So that was an improvement. She got some of her bottle at the next couple feedings and then they give the rest through the tube. 

I am feeling well rested this morning which I’m so grateful for. Some of my soreness has gone down which was really bothering me yesterday after having felt soooo good the days prior to that. Just a ton of walking that I wasn’t expecting in my post partum journey with having to travel to and from the hospital and up to the NICU and riding in a rental car that’s LOW 🥴🙃

The prayers are SO felt 🥹🩷 we get to help give her her first bath today and I’m so excited. Will be headed into spend the day/evening with her sometime after lunch.
